Project Background
This villa is conceived as more than just a luxurious home – it’s a carefully choreographed experience. From the street, it commands attention with its bold, sculptural presence, clean lines, dramatic scale, and a sense of quiet monumentality. Inside, the atmosphere shifts, as expansive spaces become warm and inviting through layered textures, natural light, and refined material choices. The design strikes a balance between openness and intimacy, elegance and comfort.
Stepping into the backyard, the tone transforms once again. Lush landscaping, playful elements, and integrated amenities create a whimsical, retreat-like setting – a private escape designed for both leisure and delight. The project reimagines luxury by guiding visitors through a journey: from grandeur to warmth, from sculptural form to immersive experience.
Designed as a seamless blend of resort-style luxury and functional living, the villa features fluid zoning that supports both family life and high-end entertaining. The architecture makes a bold statement with a travertine-clad façade, a glowing backlit onyx wall, floating steppingstones, and a serene black water mirror. Signature features include a multi-tiered pool deck with a glass-edged infinity pool, a rooftop basketball court with glass flooring, and expansive glazing that promotes indoor-outdoor living.
Inside, the layout includes 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 7 powder rooms, formal and family living areas, dual kitchens, a nanny’s room, 3 staff rooms, and a panoramic lift. The basement offers a cinema, poker lounge, bowling alley, gym, spa with indoor pool and ice bath, hair salon, and a 12-car garage with a maintenance area. Outdoor amenities include a second pool with a kids' zone, BBQ and bar area, jacuzzi with TV, sunken seating, a rooftop lounge, playground, and a private office with separate access.
Strategic design moves – such as cutting back the plot to allow natural light and layering spaces with purpose – combine to deliver a home that is both sculpturally striking and deeply liveable.

The design seeks to express modern luxury through a monumental and sculptural presence, employing minimal, clean-lined architecture enhanced by rich materiality.
The villa is envisioned as a private retreat and lifestyle hub, offering high-end comfort, curated experiences, and seamless indoor–outdoor living.
Emphasis is placed on creating drama through simplicity — large forms, purposeful voids, and expressive details such as backlighting and water features.
Mood & Atmosphere
Inspired by desert elegance and resort living, the design evokes a sense of calm, warmth, and exclusivity.
The aim is to create a space that feels both timeless and contemporary, drawing influence from Dubai’s luxury landscape and global design references.
Material Selections
Travertine: Selected for its natural beauty and monolithic appearance — grounding the architecture in warmth and permanence.
Backlit Onyx: A key luxury statement at the entrance, introducing a glowing feature that sets the tone for refinement and exclusivity.
Black Water Mirror: Adds movement and reflection; symbolises serenity and transition at the point of entry.
Glass & Metal Accents: Employed to create contrast and reinforce the clean, modern language while preserving a sense of lightness.
Layout Inspirations
Informed by site orientation and strategic view framing — particularly towards the golf course.
Influenced by resort masterplans, where public and private zones are clearly defined yet visually connected.
Open-plan living, expansive glazing, and layered terraces take cues from luxury hospitality design, offering immersive indoor–outdoor experiences.
